SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

- 2% Phloretin: derived from apples and the root bark of fruit trees including apple, pear, and grapefruit, this antioxidant neutralizes damaging free radicals, helps improve cell turnover, and improves the appearance of discoloration.
- 10% Pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid): lauded for its superior antioxidant benefits, this highly potent form of pure vitamin C neutralizes damaging free radicals and protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits.
- 0.5% Ferulic acid: a plant-based antioxidant, ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamins C and E.

My wallet hates it but my skin LOVES it!
I've very selective with what I put on my skin - even more so after starting to see a dermatologist and dealing with different skin and health issues over the past few years. I have tried several other vitamin C serums over the years but couldn't justify the price tag for SkinCeuticals. None ever *really* seemed like they made a difference (even if I tried to will myself into thinking I could see a difference after shelling out the money!) so I had pretty much decided that vitamin C serum must not make that much of a difference. But when the SkinCeuticals sale came up this year, I hesitatingly decided to give it a try...So you can imagine how surprised I was when after less than a week of using just 4-5 drops on my face in the morning, I actually started to feel a difference in my skin. The texture was noticeably smoother and I was less oily by the end of the day. Since then, it's been a couple weeks and I'm starting to see more evenness in my skin tone - the hyperpigmentation from old acne scars is less vivid and the slight rosacea redness I have also seems to be lessened. I admit it - I'm in love and as long as I can afford it - SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF - you've got a place in my heart.
