SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

I've had the product for a couple weeks now and really enjoy it. My skin feels looks brighter and appears more even. The only complaint is the "hotdog" smell, but it dissipates.

Good product and good customer service
I have noticed a change in my skin with daily morning use. The texture of my skin has improved. Also, discoloration has lightened. I like that there is no strong scent as I have a reaction to them. Prefer over CE ferulic
I was on the fence on which product to buy between the ce ferulic and this one. My skin is sensitive, mild rosacea & on the dry side so I chose CE ferulic. Some bumps/ irritation developed so I switched to the Phloretin. My skin seemed to tolerate this better & no bumps. Scent is kinda weird but tolerable. Goes away pretty fast. My skin looks smoother & brighter when I use this.

My Favorite
I honestly don't think any other product I've purchased has made as much of a difference as this one. I struggled trying to decide between this and the C. E. Ferulic, but I'm happy with my decision. I think this one is more for brown spots and smoothing of skin tone, which suits my needs. I'm 45 now and have been using this for 2 years. I didn't notice a real difference until months after using it, but now there's no going back. Newly appearing brown spots don't stand a chance with consistent use of this lovely product. I get compliments on my skin all the time and don't even use foundation anymore (tinted moisturizer instead). This is pricey, don't get me wrong, but it lasts a long time and having nice skin is worth it.

Okay serum but not the best
This is an okay vitamin c serum. It definitely smells like hotdogs like the other Skinceuticals vitamin c serum and I don't think it's as effective. I got it because I read that it's supposed to be better for breakouts but unfortunately that hasn't been the case for me and I've had several breakouts with this serum.

Better for acne-prone skin
I had hyperpigmentation left over from pregnancy more than 1 year after my baby was born. After using this product for about 1 month it has completely faded. This doesn't have Vit E in it an ingredient which can be problematic in acne prone skin. The key is to wait about 20 after applying this serum before adding your next layer.
