SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

- 2% Phloretin: derived from apples and the root bark of fruit trees including apple, pear, and grapefruit, this antioxidant neutralizes damaging free radicals, helps improve cell turnover, and improves the appearance of discoloration.
- 10% Pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid): lauded for its superior antioxidant benefits, this highly potent form of pure vitamin C neutralizes damaging free radicals and protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits.
- 0.5% Ferulic acid: a plant-based antioxidant, ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamins C and E.

Another Great Product from SkinCeuticals
I have recently started using this product on my skin. First I will say that it does have a slightly unusual smell when applied, but to me it does not linger once absorbed. I love the way this product absorbs into my skin and does not leave it feeling sticky. It is also thin so it is easy to apply, you don't need a lot. I have used many SkinCeuticals products and I can say that this will be another winner. My skin does feel smoother when I use it. I haven't used it long enough to comment on how well it improves discoloration, so hopefully it will help with some acne scaring I have. Overall I really like this product and would recommend it. I have combination to oily skin in the summer and I like that it does not feel heavy or leave my skin feeling greasy.

Worth the investment

Love this serum! It has reduced my dark spots a good amount in the past month. Granted I use sunscreen daily too but compared to this time last year my spots are so much better. Previous CE Ferulic Fan
I used CE Ferulic for almost a year and had good results. However when I got a one-on-one consultation with a Skinceuticals rep, she recommended that to help with my adult acne and redness, I should finish using the CE Ferulic during the winter and then switch to Phloretin CF the next time I needed to purchase. She said the CE may produce too much oil for my skin needs. This was the best recommendation because I've seen a much better improvement in my skin in texture and redness with this product over the CE Ferulic. Recently, I even had a sample of CE Ferulic and used it while traveling. I immediately noticed the bumps return as if I was having a reaction that I didn't realize before Phloretin CF. I am 40 and have found this product to produce better results for me than the more popular CE Ferulic.
