Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. City antioxidant protective serum
Top preventive treatment for daytime use. I have more even skin tone due to this miracle in a bottle. My hyperpigmentation spots have improved because of this product. Vitamin C is great to help with free radicals and UVA/UVB rays. My only difficulty is that I probably can't use the bottle within three months of opening; it lasts a much longer time for me. I press the product into my skin by patting it. Then I blend it just like the video. I put it the periorbital (eye) area and neck too.

I got this product for Christmas and a couples months in. This product hands down has been the best vit c serum I've ever used however I would probably never buy it due to how expensive it is .

Excellent for maintaining skin free, or reduction in hyper pigmentation
I have been using this serum for 2.5 years, and have ordered from the Dermstore throughout this time. The Phlorectin formula was more suitable for me compared to the Ferulic. Summer of 2016, I went to a Day Spa, and purchased the SkinMedica cream without retinol for hyper pigmentation. I ended up with more pigmentation. I purchased the Phlorectin, and in 1 month began to see improvement. My skin has been fabulous ever since. I also use the hydrating B5 gel after applying the Phlorectin only at night. I am 41-years-old, and my skin looks amazing due to the quality of skinceuticals products. I have previously used products by La Mer, and Lancer, and feel skinceuticals gives the best result, and at a more affordable price. Our skin is so diverse, so this is my constructive review. I hope you get the same results, as I did.

My skin looks radiant
I have oily skin, large pores, acne scars, hormonal cystic acne, and now at 30 I am starting to get fine lines around my eyes and mouth. I started using this in the hopes that it would help with the acne scars and fine lines. It's a little bit hard for me to review this, as I started using it in conjunction with several other products (Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel, Skinceuticals Blemish + Age, Skinceuticals Clay Mask, Skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore). But, since my skin looks so much better, I'll assume that this has played a large part. My skin tone is much more even and radiant, my fine lines have softened, and my acne scars seem to have lightened a bit. I like that this provides a potent daily dose of antioxidants, as it makes me feel like my skin is protected. It's the most expensive product I use by far... but for me the price is justified by the results!

Reduced my discoloration
Read many glowing reviews and thought I would give it a try. I'm in mid-40's. Have been using it for 1.5 years. I see definite improvements in my skin. Best serum
I've been using this product daily for about 8 years now. It's the best thing for my skin. I used to use c e ferulic when I lived in CA, but I switched to Phloretin when I moved to FL. My aesthetician suggested I switch because I was getting too oily. I have combination skin, plus the humidity here. The Phloretin absorbs quickly and is easy as a 1st layer. I then put on my moisturizer, then sunscreen. It's expensive but so worth it. I'm 46 and have better skin than most younger women.

After battling adult acne and hyperpigmentation this has been a life saver! I started Vitamin C chemical peels and use this at night. Best Vit C Serum I've Tried
The past 6 months I've been struggling with acne-prone skin while also trying to incorporate anti-aging skin products into my routine. This serum actually improved my acne (previously tried Drunk Elephant which caused additional pimples). Compared to Drunk Elephant- the texture is thinner which makes application a little more difficult but it's improving my skin tone and texture. The only negative is the price point- one bottle will last less than 2 months, but still worth it to me- will be purchasing again.
