Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

Can't tell the difference between this and CE Ferulic
I started using CE Ferulic first and noticed an immediate change in my skin. I tried Phloretin CF next and didn't notice much more change. I like to switch between using the two, I like how quickly it gets absorbed. A definite must have for daily use.

Pricey but worth it
i started using this a few months ago after an aesthetician in Madrid recommended it for my mild hyper-pigmentation due to sun damage. it seems to improve the overall health of my skin, maintaining even texture and complexion and supposedly antioxidants of this quality are proven to help protect against further sun and free radical damage when coupled with sunscreen. i spend a lot of time in the sun and want to do everything i can to keep my skin in shape for as long as possible. i'm in my mid-thirties but people always mistake me for 25 so, for me, that's reason enough to keep using what i'm using. it's a little pricey and i would welcome a cheaper cost but i find that it lasts a long time and as long as I look good, it's worth it.

Great product, but ferulic acid irritates my skin.
I have used vitamin C serums and had no irritation. I have tried both the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and the Phloretin CF, and although I can see improvement in elasticity with both products, and reduction in scars with the Phloretin CF, I have redness and irritation. I have come to the conclusion that it is the Ferulic acid. My skin is far most sensitive than most (even dermatologists and aestheticians are usually baffled by my skin), so I recommend trying this product. But anyone who suffers from Rosacea or extreme sensitivity should keep an eye on skin reaction and watch for redness.
