Ideal for those with sensitive skin types or those new to vitamin C antioxidant serum, this powerful serum combines 10% pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid) and 0.2% ferulic acid to help neutralize damaging free radicals that contribute to environmental damage and premature signs of aging.

Tip: It is normal for vitamin C products to darken after opening due to air and light exposure. The formula will remain effective. Once opened, it is recommended to be used within 3 months of opening.

confident in the protection
This is the mildest of the Skinceuticals Vit C serums. I go with this one because my skin is sensitive. My skin tolerates this with no problems. I feel confident in the extra antioxidant protection it provides. 3 drops is enough for the whole face. Since it is very liquidy, you must use this product first and work it in quickly before it drips off your face. Then apply other, more viscous products over it. When new, the product smells like hot dogs. When left to sit for a long time, the smell turns to black licorice. Regardless, any smell fades quickly and is not bothersome.
