SkinCeuticals Simply Clean is a refining gel cleanser that gently removes excess oils, makeup and debris, leaving the skin feeling perfectly pure and fresh. Formulated with botanical extracts, this facial cleanser works to soothe, nourish and hydrate, while hydroxy acids exfoliate, resulting in a smooth, supple texture and clear, radiant tone.

Thoroughly cleans, but doesn't strip.
This is a great cleanser. It's slightly foamy, but not in that rinse-your-face-for-five-minutes-to-get-it-off way. Just a few bubbles, and it does a great job cleaning. I used to use MD Forte III cleanser, and when they stopped making it I switched to this and i'm happy. It's not a high-level AHA cleanser, but a good middle-of-the-road formulation. After using it my skin is soft but not greasy, and smooth, not tight or dry at all. I follow it up with the Skinceuticals Equalizing Toner. For reference, I'm in my mid-40s with slightly dry, occasionally oily T-zone skin.

I've been using this product for a year now. It takes out all my dirt and make up after a long day at work. I like it because it doesn't dry out my skin. I use it every morning and every evening. It's refreshing to know that my skin is clean. I follow with my daily regimen using other skinceuticals products. I am very oily and live in a humid area.

Beware really burns in inadvertently gets in your eyes
While this product does a nice job cleaning I will not purchase again because if I'm not careful to keep my eyes tightly shut while washing my face it really really burns the eyes.
