Love this cream!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am now on my fourth container of this cream, I love it! It goes on so well and I can wear it under my makeup. I have noticed a major difference in the texture of my skin since using this! It is pricey, but it is worth it!

Seems good

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

While obviously expensive, I've been using this for a couple of months now and it seems to be working pretty well. Does it address fine lines? Hard to say. It feels nice though and wears well under makeup.

Hate to love

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

My skin is very dry, particularly in winter, and I have tried so many moisturizers: mainstream and indie brands, natural and not-so-clean formulations, from the very expensive to extremely affordable. Even the ones that most people swore by weren't working - they would feel nice and rich when I put them on but I'd wake up in the morning flakey and tight again. My sister-in-law recommended this and I was wary - my experience is that with expensive moisturizers, you are often paying for brand name and packaging vs formulation. It didn't feel special going on, but it is magic. After just a few nights of use, all the flakiness is gone, my skin is no longer tight after cleansing and most of all, the redness has greatly diminished. The curse is that I'm now hooked on very, very expensive moisturizer. Fortunately, it seems a little goes a long way so I'm hoping this jar lasts a while.

Good face cream

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I really liked this product however I'm not sure I saw a big change in my skin. It does feel really moisturizing but I did not see it really work any magic. I might try and buy it again but will definitely explore other options before purchasing.

Very Moisturizing

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have been trying every moisturizer to combat my skin from being so flaky from using retinol and this seems to be doing the trick. It's a nice heavy cream perfect for night time but I use something lighter in the morning.

My Must Have

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I enjoy the entire Skinceuticals line, however, many products I have found alternative that work as well. The 242 cream is a standout! The cream is so smooth, and when applied after my serums creates a protective barrier. I truly see a difference in the efficacy of my products when I use 242.

so far I am loving this product. very good for people with dry skin like mine. it soaks in well and doesn't leave my skin greasy. I use at night after washing and toner and retinol. still waiting to see the full effects of the product but will update review later. my dark spots i have are lighter and my face is way less dry.

There are better moisturizers for a lot less money

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've had this product in several samples and use it as more spot treatment for dry, rough patches. When I use it all over my face at night, I wake up in the morning with a rougher texture than when I use much cheaper overnight moisturizers. For the price, I would expect my skin to be super smooth and my texture to be better. I get better results overnight using a $12 moisturizer from another brand. I am a huge Skinceuticals fan but their moisturizers are not my favorite and this one definitely is not.
