My HG moisturizer
At this point I have lost count of how many different moisturizers I have tried for my oily/dehydrated skin. All moisturizers make me look like an oil slick within 1-2 hours, requiring blotting my entire face several times throughout the day. Some leave a sheen on my face I cant even blot off. I am dark skinned, so oil is much more noticeable on my skin and can make it look dull. Triple Lipid Restore has been such a surprising find. I expected it to be very heavy and oily. But its a great moisturizer that truly hydrates, plumps up fine lines, and prevents TEWL. It absorbs well and leave a matte finish. My skin looks like it has an inner glow. I also think it has decreased/prevented oil overproduction. I have to blot my nose once mid day and that is it. I save it for the mornings or nights out because 1. its expensive and 2. it does not make my face oily. I dont care how I look going to bed. It wears well under makeup. One recommendation I have to the brand would be for an airless pump packaging. Otherwise it is overall a great product.

Not moisturizing
This is just the beginning of winter, and my skin has never been so dry. I'm red, cracked, peeling. My face feels wind burned, it's not. This is my 2nd jar, I used this last winter. I wasn't particularly impressed last year, thinking it sat mostly on top, didn't absorb into my skin as I would have liked. I decided to give it another try, not knowing how dry my face would become this winter. I've done nothing different to make my face so dry, hormones I suppose. I've always been extremely oily. To now be on the opposite end, and not knowing what to use, well... I don't recommend this if you are extremely dry, warm redness on your face as I have. This does zero for it.

I'm already onto my second jar of fatty lipid cream. I am 30 and have sensitive and fair skin. I use this heavier cream mostly in the winter and fall when my skin is more dry. I use it in combination with CE ferulic and skinceuticals hyluranic acid. This cream comes recommended to me by my dermatologist.
