Great facial sunscreen with benefits

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is truly a go to for every time of the year, but definitely for the hot months of summer. It is extremely light weight and not greasy at all! The fact that it does have a tint to it is a plus. The less makeup applied, obviously the better your face feels. I would recommend this to anyone who wants the broad Spectrum sunscreen protection without the heavy greasiness of other facial sunscreens.

Protects, Hydrates, Not Greasy

I have been using this for a few years now. The light tint makes the skin tone appear more even. It doesn't break me out on the most sensitive areas of my face. I don't feel like I'm wearing a mask, it blends into the skin and there is no white cast. Great Product!

Favorite Tinted Sunscreen

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I couldn't decide between this product or another brand's tinted sunscreen, but after doing some research I discovered that the other brand had acne-causing ingredients, so I decided to give SkinMedica's tinted SPF a chance. I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts, but this sunscreen has helped keep my skin pimple-free. I'm not too sure about the "age-defying ingredients," but niacinamide is pretty high on the ingredient list, so at least there's that. I do combine this with other moisturizers and serums, because unfortunately this doesn't have EVERYTHING your skin needs (additional antioxidants, ceramides, etc). The tint is hardly noticeable, even on someone with a fair skin tone. The product goes on easily, doesn't cause other products to clump, and wears well throughout the day. Best of all, it will not create an oily sheen that other SPF moisturizers tend to create. Definitely going to stick with this sunscreen for awhile.

Best SPF Ever

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is the best SPF product I have ever used and I have tried a lot. It goes on like nothing at all, blends in easily and leaves no white cast. It feels completely weightless. The tint is great for toning down redness but that's about the extent of the coverage. I can layer this on multiple times a day and never feel it on my skin. It's a great product.

Prefer the Clear Version

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have used other Skinmedica SPF products but purchased this one when I started getting chemical peels. I originally tried this tinted version but I am fair and it made me look orange. The product is lightweight, creamy, and absorbs beautifully. It helps with moisture and soothing sensitive skin. It works amazing under makeup and it does not make me look oily at all during the day. It did not cause any breakouts and I really feel that it helped overall in the healing process after my chemical peels.

Favourite sunscreen

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've tried them all as far as mineral sunscreen goes but this one is my favourite. The tinted formula is a bonus, goes on smoothly, not too greasy and I can get away without wearing base makeup. My only gripe is I wish the spf is higher. I will continue to repurchase and hope at some point my wish will be granted. :-)

TINT COLOR

THE TINT COLOR WAS NOT AS PERFECT FOR ME AS THE ELTA MD BRAND. THE ELTA BRAND WAS MORE MOISURIZING.

Never go a day without it

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am 38 years old and have been using this product for about a year. I LOVE how easily it goes on your face (much like a light weight lotion) and offers protection from the sun. The tinted option leaves me with a natural glow which is another added bonus. This is a definite must have!

Summer staple!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Living in south Florida, I'm sunscreen obsessed. I saw this in gothamista's youtube video and decided to give it a whirl - especially because of how highly skinmedica products are reviewed. I tried this sunscreen and instantly fell in love. There's no greasy residue afterward, it's a perfect tint for my skintone (NC30), and I feel protected. It goes well under makeup. No break outs. I will continue purchasing.
