SkinMedica's Age Defense Retinol Complex 0.5 enhances the skin's texture to promote a brighter, more youthful complexion. Formulated for skin tolerant to retinol treatments, it stimulates collagen production and enhances faster cell renewal to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Algae extract ensures skin is soft, hydrated and protected against free-radical damage.

Apply a single pump to face in the evening. If you have never used a retinol product before, begin by limiting use to twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, and then advancing to each evening or as tolerated. Mild redness, peeling and irritation is expected when using this product. Use daily sun protection with SPF 20 or higher during use of this product. Avoid getting in eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water.
CAUTION: Do not use if you are pregnant, lactating or planning to become pregnant.

Worth it!
A little goes a long way and this stuff actually makes a difference in skin texture and lines. I have been using for 3 years. Make sure you work up to .5 if you've never tried retinol before and just a couple of times per week at first.

Great Retinol
I had previously been using a 0.5 retinol of a different brand that I honestly just wasn't a huge fan of for several reasons. This Skin Medica 0.5 Retinol has surpassed my expectations. I love the texture of it. Goes on very smooth, easy to dispense a "pea" size amount with the pump action and doesn't seem to be as irritating or drying as the previous retinol I had used. I am new to retinol. This product works. I am only using once a week because I am peeling. Adjusting my procedure after reading further about retinol. I apply the product first and wait for about 20 minutes and then apply my moisturizer. I hope this helps with some of the peeling.
