Makes a big difference
This was the first product that I used that really made a big difference in the appearance of my skin - it really helped smooth out my skin's texture and clear out clogged pores. Would recommend if you have the $$ to splurge.

This has changed my skin over the past few weeks, in love! I've been trying to find a product that helps my skin but doesn't over dry or irritate it. This product has ingredients that help the skin repair itself and soothing ingredients. On the expensive side but totally worth the money.

Meh, it was okay
Received a sample of this. It was okay, not life changing like the hype I'd heard or reviews I read suggested it could be for my skin. It definitely made my skin brighter in the mornings after I used it, but I feel like I can get that effect from another product at a cheaper cost. That said, it didn't irritate my skin and I am acne/rosacea-prone and tend to be quite sensitive. Would recommend if you're okay with spending the $$ for a not-so-mind-blowing effect.

Good for what it is, not sure if it's a necessity
So I received a sample of this and have been using it after I cleanse my face and before I moisturize. The texture feels light and easily absorbs into the skin, but the only real benefits I've noticed are a smoother skin texture and maybe slightly brightened blemishes. Then again, I have normal/combo skin with no acne and a few near unnoticeable blemishes. Given how expensive it is and how relatively unproblematic my skin is, I'm not sure if this is worth the investment.

I started using this product when it was recommended by Kathleen Jennings (her beauty blog is on point!) for use while pregnant as an alternative to retinoids. My skin doesn't respond well to retinoids and this product was a safe alternative during pregnancy that worked very well. I like it so much that I'm sticking with it and say goodbye to retinoids. Would highly recommend!

Brightens the skin
I use this product about once a week at night alternating with other AHAs and retinol, and I have noticed that my skin looks smoother and brighter in the morning after applying Good Genes. It is hard to say how much of a difference is due to this product, but I found it pleasant to use and believe it is worth a try if the cost is not prohibitive.

Love the product, but a bit pricey
This has worked great to help even skin tone and smooth texture. It is a bit pricey though which is why I only gave 4 stars. If it was more of an all-in-one (treatment and moisturizer at least), it would be easier to justify.
