So this product is not bad but for the price I did not find it that amazing. There is lot more cheaper products that do the same. Not planing to to buy again.

Love this Good Genes product from Sunday Riley!! I'm 57 with dry skin and a few small lines around my eyes and forehead. I've always used good products on my face and neck. What I have been using just didn't give me the results I use to get from them. So I knew I had to find something better for my ageing skin. I tried this product Good Genes and wow!! I saw a differance in just one week using it once a day! My lines were softer and my skin felt like it did when I was 20. I will always have this!! For me the best out there!

Watered-down version
The captain Marvel version of Good Genes first ingredient is water. The original does not list water as the first ingredient. They are selling it for the same price as the original but it is not. Fyi I love the orginal and recommend it. I hope this is only temporary.

I love this product! Was hesitant to buy at first because of the hefty price tag but it's one of the few exfoliating serums that I actually notice a difference. For me, it stings a little going on and the smell is a bit odd but the effects in the morning of plump dewy skin are well worth it. I like that it gives my skin a smoother appearance. I usually wash my pillow cases regularly if I use this consistently because it is rather sticky but all in all it's a great product!

I'm sure it's unrealistic to think that any product is doing to have dramatic results especially in a couple weeks. (I don't understand that 3 minute claim, myself.) Even my prescription Retin A is supposed to take 8 months or something?? But I will say I DO like the feel of this. A lot of similar serums leave my skin sticky and I just never used them which was a huge waste. I don't usually need a moisturizer afterwards which is brilliant and I also love the lemongrass scent, so that must just be personal preference. I think I have pretty tough skin because I barely feel it (no reaction with Retin A either) and I do think my skin has been a bit smoother after using it. I also use an exfoliator daily, so maybe it's hard to tell what's doing what. I'm going to give it the rest of the bottle but if it's really hard to tell in the end, it's simply too expensive to keep buying. With all the positive reviews, I'm truly hoping it to be the answer to all my skin woes :)

Something seems different about this product now.
This is my second full-size bottle of Good Genes. Something seems different about this product now. I tried them side by side: a dollop of the old almost empty bottle on one side of my face and the new bottle on the other side. There's a definite difference. This new bottle doesn't smell the same and doesn't have the same "zing" to it when I put it on my face. I don't have the old box so I can't compare the ingredients list to the new box. This product does help my skin look good, it's just not quite as effective as the old formulation. I will keep using it. Also, I wish there was a cap to it to cover the pump, there isn't... and I wish they would do away with the box it comes in... they could be more mindful of landfill concerns and just use a biodegradable safety seal over a cap for the pump.

Worth the splurge
I would sworn that I would never spend this much on a product, but I happened to receive a sample of Good Genes along with Sunday Riley's Ceramic Slip. It seemed too good to be true that it improved my adult acne within the first week, but I purchased the smallest size of each to continue the experiment and my skin is the clearest it's ever been in my adult life-and I'm 50. Obviously, I'm also interested in anti-aging, and it seems to be helping there too. I'll keep buying both as long as I continue getting these results-it's a much better value than all the other products I waste money trying and throwing away when I do not see any results!

It really helps to lighten my freckles. I notice after one use that my freckles were lightened. My skin is on the sensitive side, so I only use this once a day. Plus, at over $100, I want to make it last! This is worth the money.
