Hold the applicator 2–4 inches away from dry, clean hair and then pump, directing the powder toward the root wherever volume is desired. Gently tousle with fingertips to add lift and evenly disperse powder.

For instant lift, spray powder to dry hair all over the head near the root, then gently rub powder into scalp using a circular motion with the fingers to lift the hair. For up-dos with more volume and better hold, use Lifting Powder to add texture and grip. Apply all over the root and massage into the hair before styling; this will help to keep hair pins secured so the style won’t slip out over time. Lifting Powder is a great universal finisher that can be used in partnership with any and all of the stylers. If style is falling flat, this formula can reactivate it—simply pump a little into the hair and scrunch it in using fingertips.
