Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream feeds thirsty skin with intense nourishment and hydration. The ultra rich face and body cream combats stubborn dryness that can occur on your face, hands, feet and elbows. Essential fatty acids along with vitamin E moisturize and soften while organic pansy calms irritation due to dry skin. Organic calendula flower extract gently cares for your skin, aiding repair and restoration.
Apply a small amount of Skin Food to dry or rough skin as needed and massage into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands liberally apply the cream on the hands, cover with cotton gloves and leave on overnight.

The best for east coast winters
When I moved to the east coast, this was the only thing that would save my skin from being dry and peeling. It is THICK! Not really an option for daytime wear, but I would slather it on every night. I love how natural it is. It is greasy so it will leave your hands a bit slick, but again, it works like nothing else will. The smell is just okay to me. It has an herbal floral scent - not the typical perfumed scent.

Works well but strong scent
This lotion is very rich and works really well - but it does have a strong, distinct smell. I am personally not a fan of that smell so this product isn't for me but could easily work for someone who likes it!

#1 winter product
Can't live through a New England winter without this stuff. It's a life saver. I know some people say not to use during the day because it's quite thick and greasy, but if your skin gets really really dry (like mine), I would recommend applying in the morning! Keeps my skin from flaking all day.

multi-purpose
I have skin that can be very responsive to the weather-I live in the great plains so summers are hot and winters are bitter cold...the winds can make my skin raw. I use this cream as a moisturizer when I need to "out out the fire", usually as a kind of spot treatment, but I HAVE put it all over my face. In a pinch, this is also a great cream highlighter and makes the high points of my face glossy. A tube lasts forever and can be used in a million ways. It's a great product to have in your arsenal.

winter staple for dry skin!
I always have skin food on hand during the winter months. I use it as a hand cream and on dry patches on my face. My only complaint is that it has fragrance in it. I like the smell but I'm cautious about applying too much to my face because I am so sensitive to fragrance. An unscented version for face would be amazing!

Super moisturizing!
I have loved the Weleda Calendula Cream for years so I decided to try this cult favorite. It has a slight maybe medicinal smell but it disappates quickly. I have tried this on my face and it fine on my sensitive skin, no irritation and no breakouts. I think I will use it on my face more as the weather gets colder. So far I have been using it on my psoriasis and as a hand cream. I can throw it in my purse and use for everything.

Leaves my skin quite greasy
I have no doubt that this stuff would alleviate dry skin, and as a night mask it isn't so bad. However, it really leaves my skin feeling and looking very greasy. Not sure I'm sold on this seemingly very hot product, but I'll be using it sparingly.
