Use twice daily. After cleansing with Paula's Choice CLEAR Pore Normalizing Cleanser, soak a large cotton ball with CLEAR Regular Strength Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution and gently stroke over face. Pay special attention to acne- and blackhead-prone areas. Do not rinse. Avoid contact with eyes, eyelids, and mucous membranes. If excessive dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once per day or once every other day.

Meh
Definitely not irritating or moisture-stripping like other exfoliating solutions, but I'm also not sure it's really doing anything. I haven't really noticed a difference in my acne since I started using it.

I’ve been using this toner for years. Helps keep my pores clear, but does not upset my rosacea at all. I’ve tried to downgrade to store brand salicylic acid toners, but have always experienced dryness or irritation. Never with this one. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this BHA. I tried the cult favorite BHA by Paula's Choice, but I found it too heavy on my skin. This one is lighter in weight - much better for my oily skin.

my skin is very irritable. Rosacea, oily mid face, sensitive. dry other places. This is very easy to put on since liquid. then i can layer what i need for other problems without an extra layer. It sinks right in like water. There are a couple more liquid types of this from Paula. i only tried one other... that one i didn't like. turned spots red at first and felt sticky. This doesn't do that, plus it is so gentle that i can have it on and exercise. I used it continuously last year and stopped this last summer to try another product. my pores looked and were more junky not using this. So i'm back to it and going to use same amount of days, at least 5/week.

I've used this BHA liquid for years, it's a must have in my skin routine. It has transformed and refined the texture of my skin, and is the only product I've found that's both gentle and effective for my acne/rosacea prone skin. This product clears my pores and keeps my skin from getting congested, at the same time giving me a refreshed, brighter complexion. I still get breakouts but not nearly as many, and I never scar anymore. I don't use a cotton pad, I prefer to pour a little on my hands directly and smooth over my face. No dryness, no greasiness. It's perfect!

I absolutely love this BHA solution!! It doesn't contain any irritating ingredients and the anti-redness claims really do hold up as it has helped even out my skin tone. I have noticed fewer blackheads and a reduction in pore size. Will definitely keep using it as my go to BHA.

I so wanted love this. It did exactly what it said, reduced redness. It was like magic. However, I had to return it because the smell is so awful. If you've had babies and breastfed, you know the smell of breast milk baby vomit. It's literally that. I couldn't stomach it. Went back!

First off, this is my first review ever on a product but it's so good I had to say something! I started using the CLEAR line (cleanser, exfoliating solution, clearing treatment) 4 months ago after struggling with blackheads and tiny clusters of whiteheads around my nose/chin for a few years. I tried a lot of different products (masks, serums, spot treatments) including prescription but they either didn't work or caused redness/peeling. The CLEAR line has rid me of the persistent whiteheads/blackheads without any redness or peeling. Personally, I think the star of the line is the exfoliating solution. I saw results within the first 3 days and it also helped with my larger pores.
