PCA Skin Silkcoat Balm (formerly Silkcoat Balm - pHaze 20) is formulated to calm, soothe and moisturize extremely dry or damaged skin, as well as skin recovering from laser treatments, chemical peels and dermabrasion. An emollient blend of jojoba and olive oils promotes healing as it hydrates. Rosemary and lavender extracts diminish redness for a restored, comforted complexion.

After gently cleansing with appropriate PCA Skin cleanser, apply generously to area of treatment. Follow with appropriate PCA Skin sunscreen moisturizer during the day, nourishing moisturizer at night.

Just finished this product and it was a great go to moisturizer this winter. I used it as my night moisturizer most of the time but it also laid great under makeup if used in the morning. I think it is a great option and would purchase again.

I have moderately dry skin and this PCA silk coat balm left my skin thirsty every day I used it. I love PCA hydro luxe so thought I’d try this balm but it was very disappointing-not worth the money. Better to invest in a worthwhile product for even mildly dry skin.

Giving this 4 stars only because I think its more suited for the body. A sample of the Silkcoat Balm came in a PCA Skin post procedure kit that I was given after I had a laser treatment. I thought it was great because it was more hydrating than the Rebalance moisturizer that was also in the kit. So I ordered a full size and started using it as my main moisturizer but felt that as my skin started to go back to normal there was something off about it. As if I had dry patches of skin even after moisturizing. I went back to my aesthetician for my post-laser check-up and after telling her that I was using Silkcoat Balm, she said that it could actually clog pores and that I should switch to the Collagen Hydrator (PCA Skin). I made the switch and am much happier. I still use the Silkcoat Balm, but only on my neck, shoulders and back. It's perfect for dry winter skin.

Post peel or cold winter? This product is amazing. Love the extra hydration it gives me. Just be sure not to use too much. Start off small and add more if needed.
