I got this shampoo for my boyfriend, and he's now on his second bottle. He has short, fine hair. Hair loss runs in his family, but a combination of biotin and this shampoo seems to be helping a lot. While the formula is quite thin and runny, he's able to use it sparingly and make it last a long time.

I have used this product for years as it was the only product that helped with my oily scalp/dry ends. I would use it several times per week over the past 5 years. When the product changed packaging recently-from the metal container to the plastic-the formulation also changed (confirmed directly with the company). I've used it three times and each time felt like it didn't rinse out completely and left my hair greasy, wet-looking and feeling like there was a coat of product still in my hair. Gross! I'm so disappointed.

I purchased this for my mother who has had no luck in dealing with scalp issues regarding oil production, and having her hair feel clean overall. Most products that are labeled "clarifying" or the like, for hair are very drying, stripping everything instead and causing worse oil production. This product was much different. Not only did it tackle the production on the scalp, but it kept the hair from getting dried out. It also smelled good, a pleasant surprise! I would purchase this again for maintenance.
