Smells good, not effective

The product smells great and goes on easily but I don’t notice a difference in my hair after weeks of consistent use.

I love it except...

My hair type: I have a lot of fine hair, it is dry, dehydrated, and the lower 50% of it has damage from dye/bleach/henna/jobs not to mention the Brazilian blowouts. Its half wavy/curly/straight. Bottom line a disaster situation that is stubborn and does not accept any hair products and I never get results EVER. But this line seems to deliver its promises. I don't want to hype it up but truly, out of all the low and high end products I use, this one is the most effective. My hair usually feels like hay. When I put this in, the next morning it feels touchable and silky. Pros: Hair feels silky the next morning, the kind where you want to keep touching it. Hair is soft and manageable. Hair does not feel or look like there is any product in it which is great. Hair has a better overall appearance with shine and a little less frizz. Product is a light, thinner cream so it spreads fairly well. (this depends on your preference) Smell doesn't have a traditional hair product smell and does dissipate by morning (this depends on your preference) I don't necessarily just use it overnight, I can put it in in the day and it absorbs pretty quickly. Or put it in a bun and brush it out an hour later you're good to go. Cons: I have to use quite a bit of product for hair up to my shoulder and is moderately dense. Pricey for the amount, I wish it was cheaper, then I'd make it 5/5. When you use it you get all the benefits but it doesn't change your hair for the better overtime or anything. Regarding the smell, its a bit perfumey and a bit too strong if you are sensitive. Anyway, I just purchased another bottle :)

Underwhelmed

I have naturally dry hair that has been damaged by coloring, highlights, and daily blow drying. I've tried quite a few products to help my hair feel smoother and less damaged. This helps somewhat, but the effects go away after the next time I wash my hair (as with most damage-remedy products). The texture is a little light for a product that's left to soak into your hair while you sleep. Considering that I have short hair, I need to use quite a large amount to cover my hair and see any results, so if used frequently, this will be used up fast. A positive point is that I love how my hair smells the morning after using this. It's a fun addition to your nighttime routine, but at this price point I expect better results. I would try other overnight hair serums or just stick to my regular leave-in conditioner/hair oil before repurchasing this.
