Tons of Drying Alcohol, Ineffective
1This feels nice enough on application, but it dried out my skin over time due to the huge quantities of unnecessary alcohol in it. Furthermore, it didn't do anything at all to help my skin.

feels good to use
5I generally have had great experiences with Shiseido products. I enjoy using this serum a lot. It feels wonderful to wear, works well under makeup or just layered with skincare at night. Does not irritate my sensitive skin. As far as to how much it is really helping my skin, I have no idea because I do not see any visual changes in my skin. However, it is supposed to be a product which helps amplify the effects of other products. So, maybe it does the job, but it isn't something one can visually assess.

Cult favorite for a reason
5I had gotten this serum a few years ago for my mom as it is a well-known Asian cult favorite and she loves it. I've tried it as well and it absorbs quickly and smells great. The sensorial experience of this product is amazing and really moisturizes my skin well. Pricey yes, but worth an investment.
