SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne
- 3.5% Glycolic Acid and 0.5% Citric Acid: these alpha-hydroxy acids work synergistically to smooth skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

The best
This is the most effective serum for keeping adult acne under control. It has been a game changer for my skin during this past hot and humid summer when my skin can sometimes breakout from excess oil. This is the last serum I apply in my Skinceuticals morning routine before moisture and then sunscreen.

My most favorite product

Breakout Rescuer
I love this product because my face does break out every now and then. When it does I love using this serum in my skincare routine because it quickly helps my face look less red and definitely reduces the blemishes that form.
