SkinCeuticals' Physical Fusion UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 50 not only provides broad-spectrum sun protection from both burning and aging sun rays, but it also offers a universal tint that enhances your skin tone and boosts radiance. Designed to glide on smoothly without leaving behind any oily or white residue, this lightweight formula is water-resistant for up to 40 minutes.
Key Ingredients:
- 5% Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote®): this microfine zinc oxide is a mineral filter that reflects sun rays to provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. The particle size and distribution characteristics spread evenly and provide a non-whitening effect on skin.
- 6% Titanium Dioxide: microfine titanium dioxide is a mineral SPF filter that acts as a weightless reflector on skin to protect against UVA and UVB rays.
- Artemia Salina: this plankton extract helps boost skin’s natural defenses and resistance to UV- and heat-induced stress.
- Translucent Color Spheres: iron oxide spheres that act as a color-infused technology to enhance natural skin tone and boost radiance while providing a universal tint for your skin tone.
Key Benefits:
- Sheer, tinted sunscreen adapts to skin tone without a white cast
- Water-resistant for up to 40 minutes
- Boosts radiance for a more even, luminous complexion
- Helps boost skin’s natural defenses to environmental stress
- Paraben-free and fragrance-free; non-comedogenic
- Ideal for all skin types, even very sensitive skin

The best sunscreen!
This is my all-time favorite suncreen. I wear it year round, day and night and have for 2 years. It doesn't leave a cast or break me out. I don't feel like my skin is suffocating and it isn't greasy.
Report this reviewWon't buy again
This sunscreen is a straight liquid and smells horrible. It did protect my face from getting burned when I spent the day outside, but I can't get over the smell. It is not a good smell and it stays with you for a good while. Plus putting it on is not easy since it is like putting water on your face. Overall, I am not a fan and will not purchase again.

Received product in April 2022; expiration date May 2022. Product was Skinceuticals Fusion UV Defense Sunscreen. Hopefully Dermstore will make this right with fresher product . Buyers beware.
Report this reviewIt's okay
It does the job fine I guess, I'm just not a big fan of the white film/residue it leaves afterwards
Report this reviewLove it
My sister recommended this sunscreen to me, and I love it. It goes on beautifully and provides a nice tint. I'm fair skinned and the tint works for me. Since it is a fluid sunscreen, it takes some getting used to the consistency and blending in. It provides subtle coverage which I like on days when I don't want to wear foundation. This sunscreen will be in my rotation for the future!
Report this reviewSunscreen Every Day
This sunscreen is fine and dries relatively oil-free, but every time I open to apply I end up having product leak out. It’s more of a packaging issue than product issue, but is still a bit disappointing.
Report this reviewAlmost HG!
I know someone below mentioned talc as a reason to cancel this sunscreen. However, rest assured that if you like this sunscreen, you can keep using it. Talc has been linked to cancer when it is not responsibly mined and tested because certain materials naturally found in the earth (like talc) can become contaminated with dangerous materials like asbestos. However, my dermatologist says this is really unlikely to be a cause for concern. Many doctors say the same. The FDA released a statement in 2021 on this matter that I’ve found helpful also. Anyway! This is pretty good! The color is a warm with some golden undertones. It can oxidize and look a bit orangey, so if you have cooler skin, this won’t be a great look. It will also leave a grey cast on any skin tone deeper than light brown (roommate tested). Nice spread, though it’s quite liquid so it can be a little tricky at times to work with. Doesn’t burn the eyes or my sensitive skin. My only complaint is it’s more drying than other tinted chemical sunscreens I’ve tried like Colorscience. It dries quite matte and definitely accentuates dry patches of skin. If you’re oily, this is a great option. If you’re like me, you need serious moisturizer underneath to make it work.
Report this reviewDevastated to learn that this contains Talc
I don't write reviews. I have said that to myself for over 4 months using this product, and yet this was the best product I have ever used, the most amazing skin product I've ever felt on my skin! So everyday I thought about writing a review. Then last week I was informed that it contained Talc, which frequently contains asbestos and causes cancer. And since the beauty industry is not regulated, they can say anything ("We've done testing and our talc doesn't contain asbestos!") and not be held liable. So now I am writing a review. Obviously, I could have read that myself on the ingredient list on the box (ingredients not on bottle itself), but I never did. With my luck, it was probably the darn talc that made this product feel so incredible and smooth. But now, knowing what I know, I'm back on the hunt for a replacement. I'm sure I'll never find one as good as this. Cold stop though.

I love this! This is a product that I use daily at the end of my skincare routine.
Report this reviewExpires in 1 month
Hello, I do love the product. It goes on light weight and is perfect for the upcoming humid season. But the bottle I was given expires in 1 month (05/2022). With sunscreen losing its efficacy after the expiration date, that is a concern of mine.
