Flaky and Clumpy
The first two times I used this I thought I’d found my new mascara - WRONG! In less than a week it turned into a clumpy flaky disaster and it’s breaking my eyelashes. Would give it one star but it was great for that tiny period of time…

So disappointed in this Smashbox Super Fan Mascara. It just arrived yesterday but it's being returned a.s.a.p.I bought it based on the recommendation of a Dermstore rep I chatted with. I specifically requested a mascara that doesn't flake (I have tried more than a dozen mascaras and have yet to find one that doesn't flake on me). Although this mascara is billed as non-flaking, it flakes like crazy on me.

It doesn't lengthen or lift as well as my Lancome one but the formula is smoother and you can add a few coats on. It also comes off easily without any rubbing.

This is a fine enough mascara, but not amazing. Tube seems to dry out a bit quicker than expected. Not clumpy, medium volume, smudges no more or less than any other generic mascara I've used.
