Holy Grail Product
5Hydrating, brightening, smoothing. It does everything it claims to do. I like the light lemony scent. My skin is in a good place so there were no negative side effects to using this. I use one pump of it and it's enough to apply all over my face and neck. Worth the investment.

I really wanted to like This
2I really wanted to like this but it wrecked havoc on my skin. I want to premise by saying that skin isn't sensitive. It's very harsh and I can't recommend this serum.

Love.... but..
5Be careful what you later this with. If you're using an AHA or BHA, this prolongs the sting that occurs from the exfoliators. For example, I used the "is clinical" active serum which is supposed to tingle some but when I applied this over, it sent the tingle up a few levels to an uncomfortable burning sensation. Start every other day with it to get your skin used to it and I think it would be better for a night time routine. Other than that, it's great and genuinely works

The sample was better than the actual product?
2I used a sample when I was traveling once, so I would have forgotten all about it, but the next day, I went to scratch my cheek, then freaked out when I noticed my skin was SO much softer than it had been recently. I pulled the empty sample packet out of the trash to see what the miracle product was, then ordered a bottle immediately-despite this being out of my typical skincare product budget!! I didn't notice anything after the first or second or third nights using the product, but I thought maybe that's because the sample packet had a lot more product in it than I was applying, so I decided to be patient. And I kept being patient... and then the bottle was empty. I don't know if I got a bad bottle, or if the sample was that much more powerful than the actual product, but either way, this did nothing for me that my $20 Dr. Brenner serum can't do. Hard pass.

Great for skin renewal
5Lactic acid is great for dry skin so that's why I prefer this over the glycolic. I always get a fresh glow in the morning after using this. There's no added scent but it does have a very light medical scent from the natural ingredients.

Conflicted
3I have weird skin that's been through a lot - acne, accutane, etc., and sometimes I think it doesn't respond well to products that would otherwise be potent on other skin types (for example, retinol literally doesn't dry out my skin). I really enjoy the smell of this product and I do think it brightened my skin, but I'm not sure it's worth the price tag for me personally.
