This Stuff is Magic
5This stuff is MAGIC. I pair it with the Obagi Retinal 1.0 (rotating evenings) and it has completely transformed my skin. No more major breakouts! I spot treat any pimple that managing to pop up and it heals it up quickly.

5Works great. Have been using this for years, and it doesn't dry out my skin or cause any irritation. Usually use in the morning. Will apply at night if I'm experiencing some breakout. No scent.

5I was using Jan Marini BP 10, and it was very good but this formula works even better for me than any other BP gel or lotion has ever worked. The Jan Marini one was more "moisturizing", but it was slightly more occlusive feeling, a little heavier like a moisture gel had dried down on my skin. This vanishes, and the BP is very very finely milled or dissolved or whatever you call it. What I'm saying is that it doesn't have grains that you can see or really feel, and it doesn't have a carbomer gel consistency like drugstore brands or a higher-end oil-free gel moisture consistency like the one by Jan Marini. It just disappears. Grail status. It does smell like almonds very faintly. Not my favorite, but thank God the scent doesn't irritate my fussy skin because I would be really upset if that ruined it for me. Another plus is that the box included storage guidelines for temp. limits and with BP that is actually important. I have had some experiences over the years with receiving hot bottles of BP (shipped from California or Arizona) and I think that might be one of the reasons some people don't think BP works as well as it does, especially if they buy it from a drugstore or big box store. It can make a big difference if you need a 10% and the bottle has degraded in quality. My old dermatologist sold a 5% that worked like a 10% because it was so fresh, but this one from Vivant is fresh 10% and it works like MAGIC.

5I use this about once a week and it helps with random breakouts. Make sure to wear a white shirt, will stain dark clothing.

1I would have loved to try this gel which was recommended by my facialist. However when I received the product, the packaging was already opened. The gel was completely opaque white with a yellow tint, and felt like there were fine particles of sand in it. When I contacted Dermstore Customer Service asking if this gel was supposed to be gritty and opaque, I was given a standard "we're sorry you didn't like your purchase," but no response about the texture or the opened product box. I called Vivant directly who confirmed the gel is clear and smooth. I have always had good experiences with Dermstore in the past, but this is making me question that. I'm very disappointed.

4Best BP I have ever used. 33 w adult acne that tends to be cystic. This serum and a hydrocolloid bandage will fix up an open cyst very quickly when used together over night. Use all over, don't spot treat! Does bleach. Recently added derm-a-gel lvl 1, very happy with that too. This product loses one star because I hate the bottle and pump! I have been squirted, bleached paint, and there is always so much product left that the pump doesn't reach. The serum itself is amazing and I will buy for life.

5This has helped my skin/acne tremendously. I use it very very sparingly. The pump dispenses way too much compared to what I need but the actual product has worked wonders. Will repurchase.

5Always struggled with acne and oily skin since I was a child and still do as an adult...his product is the best lotion out there for acne!!! Noticed a huge difference and even made my scarring fade!!! I would recommend this to EVERYONE that struggles with acne
