Red Light Therapy:
With a wavelength of 630 nanometers, red light travels two to three millimetres below the skin's surface, into the dermis. When red light hits the dermis, it stimulates the fibroblasts there to produce more collagen and reduce the protein that exacerbates the breakdown of existing collagen.
Blue Light Therapy:
With a wavelength of 400 to 470 nanometers, blue LEDs target the epidermis. When blue LEDs come into contact with the skin, they reduce the bacteria that causes acne and improve cell regeneration, skin tone and texture. Skin will appear brighter and clearer, with fewer blemishes and reduced incidence of future breakouts.
Use of the mask for 10 minutes 3 times per week is shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and moderate wrinkles while actively reducing acne and breakouts. Signs of inflammation such as redness are also diminished. The improved microcirculation to skin cells has been linked to faster healing of blemishes and damaged skin as well as better absorption of skincare products.
- Before treatment, fully charge your Controller by plugging it into a power outlet. The Indicator light on the controller will illuminate to a solid green when it is ready.
- Attach the Controller to the mask
- On clean, dry skin, secure the mask to your face using the velcro straps ensuring that is it snug and comfortable
- Turn on the mask by pressing the Controller's power button
- Select your treatment of either red, blue, or red+blue light therapy.
- Begin your 10 minute treatment. Keep the mask on your face for the full 10 minute treatment
- After 10 minutes the mask will automatically shut down. If you do choose to end your treatment early, the mask can be turned off by pressing and holding the power button.
- Remove the mask from your face and wipe clean with a damp cloth before storing
