Moisturizing
I've been suffering from really dry, flakey winter skin. No matter how much moisturizer I put on, it doesn't seem to help. I wanted a hydrating serum to put on between my toner and moisturizer to see if it would help my skin absorb moisture better. This serum is quite thick for a serum, somewhere between a liquidy serum and moisturizer. I do like the smell, despite some of the other reviews, and the consistency is perfect for what I'm looking for.

Feels smooth and hydrating
I've been using this for a few weeks and I think it does a good job maintaining skin hydration. I'll use it as part of my "hydration sandwich" after spraying my face with water and before layering it under a moisturizer. It helps me feel hydrated and hasn't broken me out (as far as I can tell), which is all I could ask of a hydrating serum.

This serum is very hydrating. A little goes a long way because it is quite thick. I only use it at night as it does leave me with a slight oily residue but when I wake up in the morning my skin is plump and smooth.
