5Finding a mineral sunscreen that works for sensitive, acne prone skin is a nightmare. This is the best one in the entire elta line and I've tried quite a few. Very low cosdna rating.

5I absolutely love this sunscreen. Most physical suncreens are thick and pasty, leaving a whitish cast on your face. NOT THIS ONE! EltaMd is a thin formulation that goes on easily and absorbs into the skin well. Primer and foundation go on smoothly afterwards. Highly recommended.

3This is a full mineral sunscreen, so there is definitely a white cast. I am very pale, so it doesn't bother be too much, but it is still noticeable on me. It spread on the skin pretty well. Most mineral sunscreens are very thick, so at least this one isn't too difficult to rub into the skin. It also isn't the most drying, but it is also not the most moisturizing sunscreen. However, I prefer the MD Solar Science full mineral sunscreen to this one in terms of ease of application. That one glides on very smoothly due to the primer like feeling it has. I felt like this sunscreen was protective and did its job, I just prefer other full mineral sunscreens to this one.

1I really thought this elta md product with the various ingredients it has for fine lines and hydration, would work for my dry sensitive skin but I really didn’t like it. No matter how long I wait in between applying my moisturizer and this product, it ends up smearing across my face and looking dry with terrible white cast, and I’m super pale so you know it’s bad when you can see it and I look even paler. Will be returning and going back to UV clear.

5This has such a beautiful consistency and I love products that do double duty! This protects my skin from sun damage and also treats my skin! Absorbs quickly and sits well under makeup (no pilling) like some other sunscreens I’ve tried. Don’t spend money on skin care if you aren’t willing to wear your sunscreen definitely worth the investment.

5I’ve used Elta Md sunscreen for years and I love how light weight it is. I wear under my makeup and my makeup goes on flawlessly. Love the protection. I have Melasma and I have to wear sunscreen daily.

4My dermatologist wanted me to use a physical sunscreen. This sunscreen is nice, but it is slightly difficult to spread on the face. I make sure to warm up the sunscreen in my palms and then spread it on my face so that I'm not rubbing so hard. It does seem to move on the face, because if you scratch your face there are white marks that come up.

4Delivers on promise of protection and moisturization. Also appreciate multi-tasking feature of antioxidants, anti-aging and brightening. Absorbs into skin without leaving a noticeable white cast. Like that dimethicone is on bottom of ingredient list. Scent is light and pleasant enough. Reliable necessity for daily protection in the tropic sun where I live.
