I have 2C curls. My hair is long, thick, more curly than wavy, and the curls will spiral on a good hair day if I use a product. My biggest hair complaint is detangling because my hair will tangle just by hearing the word knot. I used this conditioner in the shower and was pleased by how quickly it absorbed, how easily it spread, and how it had a sweet scent. I tried to detangle in the shower with a wide tooth comb while the conditioner was still in my hair but that was difficult because there was not enough slip. So I waited until I had I rinsed my hair and applied my regular leave-in conditioner from another brand to attempt to detangle. That is where I saw a positive difference from the Living Proof conditioner because in combination with my leave-in, my hair was a breeze to comb thru. Wow! That Living Proof conditioner must have worked some magic somehow. My hair was shiny and felt healthy. I am writing this review after one use from my Dermstore purchase. I think it's a winner.
