The Perfect Oil
After trying so many hair oils only to leave my hair greasy and heavy, I found this product. I have very long, blonde, semi thin hair that I color. This is the only hair oil that not only penetrates deep into your hair leaving it feeling luxurious, moisturized, with no greasy feeling or heaviness. I love that you can use it on wet or dry hair and you don’t have to use a lot to see and feel the difference.

Have purchased multiple times, taking a break right now. I’ve ordered the full and travel size in this, and find that I prefer the travel. Easier to carry around, and keeps me from using too much of the product. I think it smells really wonderful, but keep in mind that it is pretty heavily scented. It just smells expensive, not flower you’re fruity. This adds a little bit of shine initially, but I definitely have to wash my hair sooner than usual after using this product. That’s just the nature of silicone based leave in product.

Absolutely gorgeous scent, but so-so product.
I’ve purchased this several times. I stop using it, searching for something better, then go back to it hoping for different results, but it’s always the same. By no means is it a bad product, but it’s a pretty standard silicone formulation. The packaging is beautiful, and I personally find the scent lovely, even though I’m not a fan of heavily scented product, but at the end of the day this is just ok for me. It definitely imparts a bit of shine when you initially apply, but you have to be really careful about product buildup with this. That’s just how silicone formulas are, they tend to attract dirt and caused dullness if over-applied. I was hoping for some shine and moisture miracle, so was a little let down. I suggest going with a travel size if you want to try it. It’s still a little pricy, but a pretty generously sized bottle. It looks really pretty, I find the strong scent to be quite nice, but it definitely should be used sparingly. A clarifying shampoo here and there is helpful too. I recently got my haircut at a super fancy salon in the capital city, and the owner said that in his opinion, Oribe stuff is just OK for what it costs. The product is worth a try but is by no means a miracle treatment.
