Extra hydrating
This serum works very quickly to hydrate dry winter skin. It's great for smoothing and plumping the skin. It lasts all day on the skin as well without feeling greasy.

Buyer beware... product received is not what is advertised
After receiving a sample of Avene serum in a Birch Box, I had a hard time finding the product online. Needless to say, I was thrilled to find it on this website, but my excitment quickly diminished when I received the product in the mail. First, the product I received in the bottle is not a serum, it's a lotion. The sample of the advertised product I received in the Birch Box was a true serum in consistency and color and, again, what I received is a scented lotion. My suspicion that the product is not as advertised was only confirmed when I considered the fact that the product arrived in an unsealed box and the product cap itself was also not sealed with a plastic wrapping to the bottle, or anything of the like. THIS IS NOT THE REAL AVENE SERUM. Shame on this company for not having better checks in place to ensure that the advertised product is actually what is being sold to customers.

Best Serum for My Sensitive Skin
I use this serum every time I wash my face. PRO - My skin is much softer. If I forget to use it, I notice that my skin is drier and my moisturizer does not absorb as well. I had tried many serums before and they broke me out. CON - the packaging. When there is about 1/4 left, the pump stops working. For each use, I literally have to the take off the top, turn the bottle upside down, and shake the serum directly into my hand. Because the serum is somewhat thick, this gets time-consuming and some serum splatters on my sink, the wall... (I have to shake it pretty hard). Then I put the useless pump back on to keep the bottle closed. This is expensive so I want to use it up. OVERALL, I love the effect of the serum so I persist but I hope the packaging gets fixed. I have purchased this several times.se this serum every time I wash my face.

This is a very thin, watery moisturizer. I have not been using enough to speak to whether my skin has been rehydrated, but I do not love the texture or the smell, which is more fragrant than their other products.

If I were being most budget-conscious while shopping for a result-driven concern, it would be good to think of this product like the price value of a micellar water. It doesn't have a strong and serious result, but I consider it a necessary step to make my daytime routine of many thin serums more moisturizing. It is thin and gentle. I love it.
