Meet our newest Elements - an antioxidant-rich facial SPF made for skin, not just the sun. The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

Holy Grail
I have struggled with breakouts and combination skin my whole life. I also have an olive complexion and I scar easily as well as experience sun damage/spots very easily. Once I started using the EltaMD tinted facial sunscreen I stopped using foundation. This stuff not only protects my skin from UV rays it moisturizes, acts like a CC cream, and it's the pore clogging so I never break out. I will never be without it. The tint is very light and doesn't change your skin tone but more so just adds a glow. 100% recommend.

tint didnt work for me
Great product - I initially purchased this because I was looking for a sunscreen that specifically did not contain niacinamide so that I could layer it over my vitamin c serum in the AM. I thought that since this had a tint, I would would be able to nix foundation and/or a CC cream from my morning routine. The product sets in to skin nicely and felt like nothing on my face, however I gave it 3 starts because after setting, the tint appeared orange on my complexion. For reference I have Light skin tone.

Pump Doesn't Function; Color of tint is literally Orange & too dark for fair skin
Once EltaMD was opened there were two issues right out of the gate: 1.) The pump does not function. There is a very clear engineering flaw & based on other reviews "broken pump" syndrome is a common issue with EltaMDs UV Elements Tinted Broad Spectrum SPF 44. 2.) The tint is a MEDIUM shade of the color ORANGE. I cannot be more specific, truthful and blunt than that. If the color of your skin is naturally (or unnaturally) orange and is a medium shade then this sunscreen is for you. My skin is between fair & light with yellowish undertones and when I initially applied this and looked into the mirror I was immediately reminded of pancake makeup that was popular in the 1980s. EltaMD UV Elements SPF 44 was two shades too dark and I could see a very clear demarcation between my skin's natural yellowish color and fair shade and the orange color and medium shade of this product. I found the texture to be too thick and sticky when applied as well.

Wonderful formula but way too dark.
This sunscreen felt WONDERFUL on the skin. Very moisturizing and smooth. However, the tint was entirely too dark for my skin tone. I would love for this to be offered in a lighter tint or non-tint. Unfortunately I had to return.

Best facial sunscreen
Bought this a few weeks ago and it is the best facial sunscreen I've used. Tint , finish, and mineral UV protection are exactly what I was looking for. I have moderately oily light toned skin. It works great with the rest of my makeup also (usually use BareMinerals powder foundation on top).
