The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

Great Mineral Sunscreen, Though a Little Dark
I have been using the EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 and like the texture and how it doesn't dry out my skin like other mineral sunscreens I've tried, but it does leave a bit of a white cast which isn't ideal when going out in public. So I decided to try the UV Elements Tinted. The texture is nice, and like the UV Pure, doesn't dry me out, so it's 5 stars in that regard. However, the tint is a bit dark/orangey for my light skin tone, at least for the amount I apply. To get a better shade I mix the UV Elements Tinted with the untinted UV Pure. It's generally not recommended to mix sunscreens, but the ingredients for these two products are so similar I figure it's probably okay (at least that's what I tell myself!) If I'm not going out in public, I'll just use the UV Pure and be a little vampiric. I do have mild to moderate rosacea and don't suffer any irritation with these two products.

Easy Sunscreen
I usually do not buy tinted sunscreens but I wanted to give it a try. when i first got it i thought it was going to be too yellow but it ended up working on my cool toned pale skin. It does not have a ton of coverage so if that's what you are looking for, this is not it. I don't know if it will work for deeper skin tones. It was nice for natural days.

Fantastic Sunscreen with Tint
In addition to the thorough coverage and sun protection, I use this daily as my foundation. It is moisturizing without being greasy and my skin looks "dewy" rather than oily. If I need more color, I just add some bronzer. I've been using EltaMD for over 5 years at the recommendation of my Dermatologist. Though it contains Zinc Oxide, it isn't stark white and I think it might help my adult acne. I haven't found a better sunscreen and highly recommend the products from EltaMD.

MY MISTAKE!
After trying another EltaMD sunscreen, I once more tried to find "the right" sunscreen for me among their offerings. All the positive reviews, and the attractive price, were too tempting. This sunscreen was not drying, however the tiint once again was not subtle nor flattering. . . and I still had not realized that I could return a used product! At least this was a lesson finally learned!

Very thick and heavy
I'm sure this product works well as do all EltaMD products. My problem with this one is that it is very thick and stiff. It pulls skin as it is smoothed out. My daughter said her dermatologist's agent told her to mix it with moisturizer to facilitate smoothing it over skin. But this would seem to dilute the sun screen properties and adds a bit of inconvenience. I would like to wear it as a makeup primer like I did a similar EltaMD product last summer, but it goes on too thick and heavy for that. Best used as makeup on its own. I see a question below about scent.....it has none.
