I tried so many facial sunscreens and wasted so much money on products that were not right for me, until i bought Elta MD UV clear. I read several reviews and thought i would give another one a try. This is perfect. It does NOT smell like sunscreen, thank goodness. It does NOT clog my pores as other sunscreens did. I have combination skin that usually resulted in most sunscreens causing me to break out around the nose area. It does NOT feel heavy or greasy. I use it as a combination sunscreen/ moisturizer over a vitamin C serum, and it works fantastically. I use a powdered sunscreen for touch ups during the day. I have put this item on automatic order because i know i will keep using it. I might also try the tinted one this summer.

Best Sunscreen I've Used
For years I've battled with hyperpigmentation and melasma. Tried peels, hydroquinone 2%, 4% but spots came back eventually. I've noticed a remarkable difference since I started using EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46. Not only when I'm in the sun for a few hours my face doesn't get red at all, my patches of melasma have been fading. With other sunscreens, my face would get red when in the sun, would ball up when mixed with my foundation, and my spots would remain on my face no matter what I do. Now I'm looking forward to the day when I only have to use the sunscreen and go without foundation. I found about this sunscreen watching those small skincare/tutorial videos from celebrities on Vogue.com and a model recommended it. So I went for it and I'm happy I did!

Excellent sunscreen for face
I love this sunscreen for my face because it is not sticky at all. I don't even feel it on my skin. Consistency is thin and I don't notice a scent. I apply this all over my face, including up by my eyes, and no stinging or unpleasant tingling. I use this each morning after my AM routine (cleanser, toner, vitamin C serum, eye cream, moisturizer). I've been using this through the winter so I'm not sure how it would perform in the summer when I'm out in the heat all day. I also don't wear makeup so I don't know how it sits under foundation. For my purposes, it's perfect.

i love this sunscreen! i use it every day unless i need a waterproof one. i have sensitive and acne-prone skin, and this product does wonders for my complexion. the niacinamide has really helped with the hyperpigmentation from my acne marks, and it has never made me break out. also, this sunscreen genuinely smells so good and not like sunscreen at all. my only complaint is that this product's finish can be a little dry or tight, but as long as i adequately moisturize before it usually isn't a huge problem. i would recommend this to anyone who has acne-prone skin.
