I'm only allergic to one thing - scents. Elta does it right - a sun screen that doesn't smell like sun screen. Who wants that? Instead you get a non-greasy moisturizing, effective sunscreen. I live in FL, and we have some serious sun down here. You won't get better protection and my dermatologists have always recommended this brand.

Think twice if you are sensitive to scents
I needed a new face sunscreen and purchased this after doing A LOT of research. It is a well respected sunscreen that seems to be loved by dermatologists and customers alike. I can understand why: It goes on very smoothly, has a light yet moisturizing feel, has no white cast and no dubious ingredients. However, the product description says "fragrance-free" and I took that to mean there would be no overpowering scent to it. To my disappointment, I discovered it had a really strong "chemical-plastic" smell that was extremely off-putting. If the odor had dissipated after several minutes that would have been ok, but it lasted for hours before going away. I had to return it after one use.
