Clean and protected
I am outside a lot in the summer. This moisturizer/sun screen prevents my skin from getting red. Does not feel greasy or cause me to breakout. My eyes always burn like crazy with any moisturizer or sun screen . This product does not cause that.

Great Daily Sunscreen
I like this product just as a daytime moisturizer. There is no oily feeling. The finish makes the skin look bright without looking shiny. Of course, it's nice to know my skin is protected with a hight SPF. Also, no breakouts. Have been using this for a couple years now with no intention to change.

I really enjoy the smooth consistency of this sunscreen especially after applying moisturizer. It glides right on the skin unlike thicker sunscreens I've used which are hard to work into the skin. My Favorite Sunscreen Ever
I've tried many sunscreens for everyday use, and I always come back to this one. I have it on auto re-order. I use it everyday. In the winter re-ordering once every 3 months is perfect timing. In the summer, I re-apply, so need to re-order more often. It doesn't smell like sunscreen. It doesn't feel heavy like sunscreen. It's perfect!

Made my skin tight & dry
Bought this accidentally instead of the SPF 40 moisturizing sunscreen and did not like it at all. It made my skin very tight and dry. Also my cheeks still got pretty red during a few hours at the beach (with a hat!) even though I reapplied 3 times. I returned this and will be purchasing the moisturizing sunscreen.

Decent product for a decent price
I have very oily skin and have dealt with acne for over 20 years. At the worst, I had cystic acne for a couple years. I've tried out various SPF products over the years but some have made me break out and/or made me extra oily. I've never found a good fit. I can't say this Elta MD SPF is a perfect fit, but after using it for about a month my skin hasn't had any terrible reactions at least. Something that puzzles me is that it can feel slightly drying while also making my skin look a bit oilier than it already is. And it has a weird smell. Not a rancid smell or any type of perfume. It's a bit chemical so I think it's just some of the ingredients? I'm still playing with it to figure out how to best make it work with my skin because it seems to feel and look different on my skin on different days and it doesn't help that it's winter and I'm in dry air all the time. As for the claims that it's clear, in my experience I haven't notice any white cast. However, I'm pretty light skinned. (For reference, the makeup I wear is NARS RCC in shade Vanilla.) Obviously I can't speak for how this product would look on darker skin tones, but I do feel it's pretty "clear" compared to other SPF products I've tried.

Best Face Sunscreen
I use this sunscreen daily and love it. I have very oily skin and find that this does not make me more greasy throughout the day - in fact, I think the zinc helps control the oil a bit. I do still have to use a moisturizer under it though, but it layers well. The niacinamide also helps calms redness. Strongly recommend.
