It works perfectly on my brown skin. It feels a little thicker at first but once you rub it in it disappears and blends nicely. I was a little afraid of the finish because it looked a little shiny, but after some minutes it dries down to a nice healthy looking finish. I wouldn’t say it is matte on me, (I have oily skin) but it definitely looks right in the middle, not shiny or too dry. Great purchase.

I have tried so many sunscreens over the years, and this is by far my favorite. It is sheer, lightweight, and does not have any scent. I prefer this one over the Elta MD moisturizing one; I did not like the texture/feel of that one. This bottle also lasts me quite a while.

Melanoma means business
Former melanoma patient here, plus have had basal cell twice on my face. I was looking for a good mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a milky cast. This fits the bill quite well! It isn't oily, nor does it make me break out. While I choose to use the A.M. Elta for a regular daily moisturizer, when I'm spending time out in the sun purposefully such as golf and at the pool, this is my choice.
