Perfect for My Daughter's Skin
My teen daughter is struggling with fungal acne with presented for the very first time this past winter. Trips to the doctor and then the dermatologist got her a topical medication and some information on how to check product ingredients to avoid those that would trigger an outbreak. Unfortunately there are very few facial products she can use that are safe and do not trigger an outbreak. There are even fewer sunscreens, but EltaMD is one. While it does contain one ingredient that is may be troublesome that is nothing compared to most sunscreens. Since we have started to really pay attention to ingredients and only purchase those products that will not trigger outbreaks, her skin has been much better with only some minor flareups and far less usage of her prescription topical to clear it. It has been a lifestyle change, one that is not inexpensive, but her skin is looking so much better. This sunscreen is light and smooth and has minimal pilling, it goes on easy and feels good on. She doesn't;t wear foundation and prefers a bare face, and really revamping her routine and making this her sunscreen has minimized/stopped the flareups and allowed her to feel confident again.

I am very fair. This sunscreen is one of my must haves. I have tried about a million different sunscreens. This has, by far, the best texture of any mineral sunblock. I do wish this was water resistant. You might get a white cast if you have dark skin, not sure. They do have a tinted version. Otherwise it's absolutely perfect.
