retin-a & finacea user loves this
i haven't gotten this excited about a product in years. i'm almost 30 & have been using retin-a nightly (since january 2020) because of adult/hormonal acne. i just started using finacea 15% in may. i have sensitive skin (both dehydrated AND acne prone), and a ton of PIH (red/purple acne marks from old pimples). i couldn't for the life of me understand why the old acne marks were taking so long to fade, despite using retin-a mirco nightly and finacea every AM for months. i thought the SPF in my IT CC+ cream would be enough to protect me from the sun. i was wrong. i started using this SPF under my makeup (FULL AM ROUTINE: finacea, REN flash hydroboost serum, cerave PM, this sunscreen, then IT CC+ cream)*. and wowowow. not only does this give me an amazing glow under my makeup, but by the end of the day, i'm not oily or gross. i got my first skin compliment like ever after a few days of wearing this. i'm super confident this is going to help with fading my marks, and would have waited a few more weeks to review but i'm just so excited that this isn't breaking me out AND it's making my skin look better. if anyone is struggling with acne, or thinks that an SPF will break them out, i encourage you to try this. i'm fully on the SPF hype train now. *once my skin barrier is better, i probably will skip the serum or moisturizer, but my barrier needs it. i wasn't properly moisturizing in my early tretinoin days
