Only SPF I've liked
This is lightweight and comfortable to wear over your skincare routine. It is zinc-based so you have to be sure to massage it in all the way or you will have white streaks. With that said it's not like other zinc sunscreens that will leave you pasty white and smelling of a beach. In fact, its smell is neutral enough that I don't even notice it (a first for me).

Best face sunscreen
I have pretty sensitive skin so I try to be careful with trying new things - I hadn't found a sunscreen I liked for my face because they all seemed really heavy/greasy, this one is so light and I didn't get greasy at all! I haven't put on makeup over it yet but I don't see why it would be an issue as it seemed to soak in well.

My favorite sunscreen
I have been using Elta Md products for many years. My dermatologist recommended this product to me and I continue to use it many years later. It has a great consistency and never feels greasy on my face. I can layer a tinted moisturizer over it and does not feel to heavy. I never leave the house without sunscreen and Elta MD is always my first choice.

No white cast, dries completely matte
I can confirm that this goes on translucently, and it WILL take about 15-30 minutes to dry from shiny to matte depending on how liberally you apply (Experts recommend 1/4 tsp for your face must be applied in order to get the full SPF rating), and skin is non-sticky after that (just feels like you have a layer of soft cream on your face). I'm giving it a 5, for sunscreen performance and how comfortable it feels on the skin. My personal experience is that I do notice mild bumps that occur only on the left side of my cheeks... so I have been observing how my skin looks on and off this product to see if I am reacting to something in the ingredients. Not a holy grail for me just yet, and am going to try their Replenish formula to see how my skin reacts. If you're like everyone else, you may not have the same issue. I recommend that you give the product a try because everyone's skin is unique and reacts differently to ingredients. If it doesn't react poorly, it will be your holy grail.
