I have melasma so I have tried many SPF formulas. Surprising how many of them don't seem to work well under foundation, but that is not an issue with this product. This formula doesn't leave a white cast nor does it pill up under makeup. It's cruelty free and has no scent that I can detect. I have mature oily-combo skin and this is moisturizing enough for me to use alone under my foundation but doesn't leave me feeling greasy. There are a lot of SPF formulas under this brand - I googled to figure out which one fit me best.

I love the texture
This is the first sunscreen I have found that does not make my chest and neck break out. I love it! It is light weight, moisturizing, sheer with no white tint, and it gives me a level of sun protection that I trust. Like to use this one on my neck/chest and the EltaMD UV Elements Tinted on my face.

The worst for my hormonal acne
I have mild hormonal cystic acne. I did not realize this product was exacerbating my acne until I stopped using it. I believe it is the Octinoxate that inflames my skin and leads to a cyst. I expected so much more out of Elta MD. I have since switched to a Zinc mineral sunscreen and amazingly my skin has improved radically. I have noticed that if I use this sunscreen even for *one* day, within the next few days I have at least one horrible closed comedone. If you have hormonal acne like me, maybe think twice.

This one is the best. I've tried all 3 versions of this product: Tint (wrong color for me), Daily (I think it's heavier) and Clear (just right), It's light enough that I can use it as a light moisturizer after my super products that I purchase from my facialist. In fact, she sells this as well. It is so light she applies it directly on my face after treatments. It was also recommended by my dermatologist after MOHS surgery for a basal cell cancer spot. I'm sold. I'll keep buying it. No need to look for anything else.
