Exactly what I wanted
I'm so happy I purchased this sunscreen. My last sunscreen made my skin feel tacky all day and burned my eyes, even though I wouldn't put it near them! This sunscreen sinks in quickly and moisturizes my skin. No irritation at all!

favorite sunscreen for every day use
I've been using this sunscreen everyday for a couple years now, and my mom and sister have also taken a liking to it. highlights: no white-cast, even on darker skin light smell dissipates quickly after you put it on absorbs quickly into skin doesn't leave skin feeling sticky or chalky feels like putting on a light moisturizer does not cause (in fact may mitigate) excessive oil production does not cause breakouts or skin irritation does not make me more prone to sweating (some sunscreens are so moisturizing that I feel like I start sweating the moment I put them on, this one does not do that to me) does not clog pores easy to use pump that gets all the product out of the bottle (I greatly dislike when there's a bunch of product left in the bottle and you have to cut it open to get the rest of it out. I actually pried open my first bottle of this sunscreen just to see how much was left inside after the pump stop dispensing product: there was nothing left inside! The pump pushed out every drop. highly satisfying) for reference: It's very sunny where I live. I'd say my skin is pretty "normal"? At baseline, my skin is not very dry nor very oily; acne happens rarely. My face sweats more than the average person's, and the sunscreen has never sweat off in white droplets. I do use a different sunscreen for outdoor activities (hiking, tennis, swimming, etc) because when I sweat profusely, a tiny bit of sunscreen melts into my eye and it stings a bit. My sister struggles with skin that is both very oily and very dry, and she's quite prone to acne- she really likes the texture of this sunscreen and has not found this product to pill up when applied on top of her other face products, and this product does not irritate her skin. Downsides to consider: the plastic bottle does not have a recycle symbol on it, meaning the bottle will end up in a landfill in addition to zinc oxide, this sunscreen contains octinoxate (well researched to be bad for oceans)

staple sunscreen
it took me two years to find a sunscreen i adore - this is it. the mild exfoliants in this sunscreen have really improved my skin in the past 4 months. the sunscreen does have a bit of a white cast but i counteract that with a pump of drunk elephant's d-bronzi mixed in for pollution protection and a bit of glow. it really controls oil throughout the day as well!

It's supposed to be a sunscreen for oily screen and I have oily skin so I thought it would work well for me. Sometimes it pills under makeup. I don't know if that's because of this sunscreen or it's because of other products I use underneath it. It gives a beautifully glow even if you put on makeup. After 4-5 hours, that glow turns into an oily look. Overall, it's not a bad sunscreen, since it doesn't break me out and it does the job. Not the best in my opinion, but definitely the best I've tried so far. Still looking for "the one"...
