Not great for my acne
I have a real problem tolerating sunscreen on my face. I pretty much always break out in bump like acne on my cheeks. The only sunscreen I can tolerate is Elta UV Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 45. I bought this sunscreen because it looked like a superior formula when I ran out of my Elta UV Shield Broad Spectrum. I can use it on my neck, but it breaks me out on my face, so I guess I will be purchasing the first type I bought again.

Lightweight, does not cause breakouts, wears well under makeup. On days when my skin is sensitized (e.g., from retinol), the lactic acid in the formula can be a little irritating, but it is only an issue a couple of times a month for me. I will repurchase.

LOVE this sunscreen. I've been on the search for a sunscreen that works well under makeup, doesn't have a white cast, and can hang with my oily skin. This is all that and more. While I prefer the tinted (bought both to try out) the slight white tint on my medium olive skin functions more like a brightening primer (think hourglass). It is moisturizing and leaves skin feeling plump and hydrated. It doesn't pill or anything under make-up, regardless of application. A single pump dispenses enough for the whole face and neck (yes that's a whole 1/4 tsp!) My makeup applies beautifully on top, and lasts throughout the day. I'm so happy the search is over.
