Fantastic Sunscreen
I have combination acne-prone skin and this is the best sunscreen I have ever used, and I have tried about a dozen facial sunscreens over the years. I have been using this and the tinted version for about a year now and my skin is clearer than it used to be and well moisturized without being greasy.

Love this!!
I have always had issues with sunscreen making my face super greasy and breaking me out. This is the first sunscreen I have been able to use that does not cause these problem and I am now a lifelong user and fan. It works great with makeup, I use it underneath like a primer. I have never gotten sunburned on my face since using it, even when out all day in the sun. Feels great and works amazing, I absolutely LOVE this stuff.

I also had a reaction - maybe the niacinamide?
I tried this formula as my daily morning sunscreen and for the first week or so, I loved it. But then I started noticing very small bumps pop up on my skin, along with a general tightness, dryness and extra sensitivity and irritation to my face, which went away when I stopped using this sunscreen. I was SO bummed because of all the great reviews. So I did some research, and after reading several forums it seems like niacinamide sensitivity (which I didn't know I had! good to know!). So, I switched to the Elta UV "Daily" formula instead, which contains no niacinamide, and the results have been fantastic! I highly recommend the Daily formula for those who've not had success with the Clear :)

Horrible reaction
After reading so many great reviews from people with sensitive skin, I was very excited to try this. It finally arrived in the mail yesterday. I put it on my face in the early evening to try it out. I was happy to notice it did not smell like sunscreen. I was not out in the sun much, maybe 15 minutes total from late afternoon until dark. I say this because waking up today, my face looks sunburned. I was only outside with this sunscreen on and not very long at all. I don't feel quite like it would have been possible to get a sunburn. My face is quite red. I have blisters on my face, under my nose! This is the only thing I have changed from my typical routine. I'm wondering if this is some kind of knockoff since I don't see any other reviewers with this problem. I've never had a reaction like this. I do have sensitive skin, but I've definitely used other sunscreens. I normally use sunscreen for babies with sensitive skin and I've never had a reaction to any of them. If you have as actual sensitive skin, reconsider!

Best Sunscreen Brand
I always come back to this brand. I have tried a few different SPF from Elta MD and all work for my combo skin. They are moisturizing but do not leave me shiny or break me out. There is also no white cast.

Finally Found Something That Works
I started seeing melasma on my face a couple months ago, and it finally got so bad that I had to start wearing sunscreen every time I got outside. This is the first sunscreen I have found that doesn't make me break out, isn't oily, and doesn't feel like I have anything on. Love it.
