Wanted to love it... not right for me.
I love EltaMD but unfortunately this one wasn't for me. It went on smoothly and well but began pilling up soon after application. I also felt a kind of stinging sensation when I used it. I don't know what the problem was, but my skin didn't like it!

Amazing sunscreen but not sure if it's for me
Everyone and their mother raves about this sunscreen - the mineral sunscreen, the antioxidants, niacinimide, and other awesome ingredients that are great for your skin and help support the functioning of the sunscreen ingredients. It's supposed to be great for acne-prone skin too! The reason I took off a star is because it 1) mostly dries clear but there is a slight faint whitecas 2) it has kind of an oily finish and is heavier than my chemical sunscreens that are truly imperceptible and therefore the most wearable 3) the first time I tried it it was great but the 2nd time I bought the product it started pilling. I'm not on trial run #3 because it's such a good formula and I really want it to work for me. This time I'm going to layer less products under it, just a hydrating serum and then this sunscreen as my morning routine. Fingers crossed that this will work out for me!

Best sunscreen ever!!
I kept reading rave reviews about this sunscreen in all of the beauty blogs that I read. I finally broke down and bought it to see if it would work as well as they say it does. I can say that the rumors were true, this stuff is amazing! My skin is naturally oily and sunscreens usually break me out and/or make my skin feel like an oil slick. I'm also extremely sensitive to the smell of sunscreen even those that claim to be scentless. I wear this on my face and body. It rubs in nicely, has no smell at all, isn't greasy whatsoever and my temperamental skin has never looked better. I used to wear this under makeup and when I did I never noticed pilling, though I would let it soak in for a few minutes before applying foundation and my skin was never greasy even after i'd been wearing it all day. I liked it so much I tried the tinted version and now I use that on my face and neck and use the clear on the rest of my body. I will definitely be purchasing this again!

Best sunscreen!
I tend to have bad reactions to chemical sunscreens, and for a long time just avoided sunscreen all together. I finally got my act together enough to try a physical sunscreen, first starting with La Roche Posay's sunscreen, which was nice but broke me out a bit. Once I tried this one, there was no going back. It feels good on the skin, goes on clear and works well under make up!!

This is one of the only sunscreens I can use on a daily basis without breaking out. It's a bit temperamental, and can pill a bit if you rub too much after it's dry. But, it works very well and is very comfortable

The best sunscreen (when applied correctly)
I have tried so many different sunscreens I can't remember them all. I'm always on the look for THE sunscreen and I think I have found it. The only one caveat is that I have to pat it into my skin instead of rubbing because rubbing will cause a lot of the little crummies that look like my skin is peeling. Other than that, I love how fast it absorbs, the matte finish that it leaves after about 4-5 minutes, and how lightweight it is. It did give me a tingling sensation because of the 5% niacinamide but it got better over time. I would say after about 1 month of using the sunscreen daily, I got used to it and my skin no longer feels like it's burning. I still like this product very much and I will keep using it until I find a better alternative!
