Does not irritate the eyes or appear to white. I do happen to prefer the lightly tinted version, but use this on my chest and arms. It can however be used on the face.

This product is great! Does not leave white film on my face or traces of product. Absorbs completely into my skin as a moisturizer and protects at the same time. Sunscreen is a difficult purchase with regard to feel and overall product. Elta MD does exactly what it says it will do and does it well.

I've been using Elta MD for almost 6 months now. I normally use the tinted formula with moisturizer in it. I bought this thinking it was the same one just no tinting. It's a great sunscreen, but I do notice the difference without the moisturizer in it. They do make a UV Clear moisturizing sunscreen I just purchased the wrong one. If you are looking for just a sunscreen it is great. I prefer the moisturizing one for double duty.
