I found EltaMD SPF 46 is better for skin that is not on the dryer side. I have used both EltaMD SPF 40 and EltaMD SPF 46. My skin is on dry side, so the so the EltaMD SPF 46 was uncomfortable, and I found the EltaMD SPF 40 with hyaluronic acid is perfect for me. My hubby's skin is on oilier side, so the EltaMD SPF 46 is the only one that he can use. I love that this lotion leaves no white residue and has great sun protection. It does not irritate my eyes, and when my grandkids come to swim at my pool I use EltaMD SPF on their faces too.

My favorite non tinted SPF for working out and being outdoors! I like that it leaves my face a little shiny, but it might be a turnoff for some people. It applies nicely under my makeup when necessary as well. I have been purchasing this sunscreen for about 2 years and will continue to do so. I have sensitive skin and it does not irritate my face, even though its a chemical sunscreen. Usually I can only use mineral sunscreens!
