EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - Tinted calms and protects sensitive skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts from the sun's harmful rays. The universally flattering tint blends to match your skin tone and mask discoloration and breakouts to give you a smooth, flawless-looking complexion. Healing niacinamide alleviates inflammation to calm your acne flare-ups and helps decrease signs of hyperpigmentation.
Key Ingredients:
- 9.0% Transparent Zinc Oxide: protects the skin against damaging UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays
- 5% High-Purity Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): helps reduce the appearance of blemishes, discoloration and photo-damage
- Antioxidants: combat skin-aging free radicals associated with ultraviolet (UV) and infrared radiation (IR)

Apply EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours.

Great sunscreen
This sunscreen has been great for my sensitive combination skin. I have a tendency to get oily and most sunscreens make me look like a grease trap, and some even burn after applying but not this one. There is a slight tint that does a decent job of evening out skin tone and with a light translucent powder over top I can skip foundation.

EltaMd is already considered a holy grail product. This one in particular melts into your skin and is so smooth and hydrating. The only thing I would say is to double check what other products you use because it pills if you use the wrong ones.

I’ve tried both the regular UV clear and the tinted and I by far prefer the tinted. I’ve read others don’t like the font because it doesn’t match their skin tone but it works well for me and looks very natural. This sits nicely on my skin and doesn’t feel sticky, as long as I rub it in and don’t overdo it on how much I put on in one area of my face. I have melasma on my forehead and this has helped it not worsen in the sun. I also have very acne prone skin and this stuff doesn’t break me out like so many other “acne” sunscreens. I’ve tried so many other sunscreens but I keep coming back to this one, I only with it was water resistant.
