EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - Tinted calms and protects sensitive skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts from the sun's harmful rays. The universally flattering tint blends to match your skin tone and mask discoloration and breakouts to give you a smooth, flawless-looking complexion. Healing niacinamide alleviates inflammation to calm your acne flare-ups and helps decrease signs of hyperpigmentation.

- 9.0% Transparent Zinc Oxide: protects the skin against damaging UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays
- 5% High-Purity Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): helps reduce the appearance of blemishes, discoloration and photo-damage
- Antioxidants: combat skin-aging free radicals associated with ultraviolet (UV) and infrared radiation (IR)

I work in a garden center and have been using EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - tinted for 5-6 years. I wear it everyday regardless of being outside. I love the tint and use it as my foundation. It provides a sheer coverage that looks very natural. It is the only sunscreen that doesn’t burn or irritate my face, goes on really nice and leaves my face looking hydrated. Love, love this product!

I really wanted this to work for me, it did not go well with my skin. I have a fair complexion, and it left me looking tanned and shiny. I do not recommend for those with fair complexion.

Gentle, Sheer Coverage
I'm a big fan of the UV Clear untinted, so I wanted to give the tinted version a try. This works just as well. I have fair to medium skin tone; this offers very sheer coverage. It won't cover up any acne, but it will even out your skin tone. Be prepared to look dewy. I have combination, acne prone skin, and this is hydrating, nongreasy, without causing any breakouts. Works nicely under makeup. If you have oily skin and want a more matte sunscreen, try the EltaMD UV Physical SPF 41. Both of these are great tinted options.
