Perfect every day skin protection
I am in love with this product! I have been wearing it every day for over a year and I love the way it goes on. It provides a smooth base under my makeup and does not have that dreaded flashback in photos that spf so often does. Plus, the smell is nice and neutral. I have been using EltaMD for years and will never change. This is a great moisturizer- not too heavy, not too light. Doesn't leave me oily but moisturizes enough in dry climates and/or winter months. I like this version better than the tinted. This is truly clear with no white sheen after application like many sunscreen products. The only drawback is that it's not a physical sunscreen but I still love this product. I mix it with my foundation daily.

Does Not Irritate My Sensitive Eyes
My dermatologist had recommended a different brand of sunscreen, but I have extremely sensitive eyes and have found that stearic acid or other stearates irritate them, and the other brand contains stearic acid. So I stumbled upon this brand, since it is so highly rated and showed up in the search for sunscreens. At first I tried the Clear version but did not notice that it is for more oily or acne-prone skin, which I used to have, but am now over 70, and my skin is normal to dry. I then tried this Daily version, and it works just great (and does not irritate my eyes, either). I can even wear it without foundation, and my skin looks almost as good. When reading through the descriptions of the various versions of the EltaMD sunscreens, I was a bit overwhelmed and confused, but EltaMD's website, eltamd.com, has a very helpful chart for the various skin types under the tab Regimens. Do not worry because it looks white and opaque when you first put it on-it will absorb to clear. I was hoping I could skip a moisturizer under it, but it's not quite emollient enough for that.

I use this product every morning year round as sun protection for my face. I use the tinted version and can wear with or without makeup. I have very sensitive skin and have no issues with this product. It does not leave skin oily. Highly recommend!

Great SPF for acne-prone skin!
I was concerned about not using SPF but was worried doing so would break me out. My esthetician recommended this to me, and I love it! It is not greasy, does not leave a white cast, and best of all, it does not break me out! I put this on after moisturizer and before foundation. It dries down quickly and looks great under make up! High recommend especially if you have acne-prone skin.
